I ran across this item by accident and it is worth getting. It is a still camera, a video camera, a voice camera and a flash memory device. And it can be left in sleep mode, to come on when it hears a noise. And it is only $25. (I got mine a few weeks ago and it was only $16, not sure why the price has gone up.) And the "cool" thing about it is it looks exactly like a `Bic' lighter! A word of warning though, this isn't a "quality" camera but it is good for gathering any sort of quick "information" and the sound pick up is very good. It will pick up a TV program from across the room perfectly clear. But in hand held mode it is a bit tricky to hold it perfectly still. Better to sit it down on a surface when pressing the "still shot" camera mode. No software, no cables, just plug it into the USB on your computer and there are your pictures or video! You do have to get a "micro" SD card to go with it, but they aren't very expensive and it then functions as a regular "Flash Memory" device so you can put all sorts of files other than "photo related" onto it. Very cool and only $25!

Pretty amazing clear photos and video. Sound quality is also surprisingly clear. Mention is made of using it as a web camera, but no link to software drivers. A fun little toy, once you figure out the many video and photo settings and control.

Four stars because description shows a micro SD card, but none is included. They aren't expensive but you have to buy one to fully use the camera.

The LED light can be a little bright and defeats the purpose of a clandestine camera. Lighters generally do not blink! Do not carry it through airport security; likely it will be taken!

I was skeptical about a covert lighter with a cheqp price, but I must say its not bad at all. It takes a little bit to figure out how to work it, but this thing came in handy. I recorded my sons friend stealing our change. We never new why the change bin was never getting full, now we know. Good product, just don't forget to buy a mini flash drive. it requires one.

First, for the money these are excellent! Second, they are cheap and yes occasionally they will have issues.
Third, yes the directions suck, but if you spend a little time on it, it is easy.
I have had two for about a year with no issues and am getting a couple more today.
Battery life is ok for its size, about 1.5 hours.
Motion detection is great.
Works very well in bright light, ok in average room light and ehhh in low light. Standard.
I say go for it.

Awesome spy cam that is VERY CONCEALABLE! I have not had anyone be able to tell it is a camera without up-close inspection. The unit also works quite well too. I bought for and am very pleased with their performance. But keep in mind these are only $35, so it's not going to perform like a thousand dollar unit. I am very pleased.

This camera is definitely superior over all others I've seen in quality. I have several cameras from past purchases and always went with the cheaper 1/4" CCD and 420 lines of resolution. The night vision is much better than any other I have purchases as well. Very solid! Overall, a good purchase and beats cheaper cameras.

Camera arrived with focus gears stripped out (bad assembly and QC). I was able to rig it so it sorta worked. Colors are very blue and washed out. Night video is actually pretty good. But lens gives a so-so quality "fishbowl" juttery picture. Kind of like looking thru a peep hole in a door. I serioulsy dobut this is 700 lines resolution. Its sure not "high resolution". The "instruction manual" is a one page double sided photocopy. Looks like somebody made it on a Ditto machine. This camera is NOT waterproof, just water resistant. There are gaps where water will obviously penetrate in a heavy storm. But for $120 I guess you sorta get what you pay for. It will be ok for my back yard. Since its not Amazon prime it would be a pain in the rear to return. So I just won't buy another one of these. My Brother has ordered products from VideoSecu and warned me...I should have listened.

We have installed this camera and the clarity in the day and even at night has been great! A picture is worth a thousand words! The night time led lights are abundant and gives a very respectful total darkness picture. None of the other cameras I have owned had as many Leds as this one. We've had seriously hot temps, fog, rain, and even storms and everything is well. It is weatherproof, it is very great in the long run. This camera is definitely superior over all others I've seen in both price and quality. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to go along with a Canon PowerShot SD850. Even with the camera set to take the highest quality pictures (3264 × 2448, around 3mb each) this card will hold over 1100 images!! I doubt I'll ever fill the card, especially since I try to download once a week or shortly after pictures are taken, but still...1100 pictures! It's almost ridiculous.

The card itself seems very fast and has been reliable so far. If anything changes, I'll update this review. I think it's worth the few extra dollars to have all the additional storage capacity.

No complaints at all about this card, works great for me.

Just make sure you are ready for the SDHC card as opposed to a standard SD, as SDHC is a newer format to allow more storage and will not be compatible with some older cameras or PC card readers that can read standard SD.

If you have an older PC but a new camera, you can still download the images by connecting the camera to the PC via the USB link, instead of using the PC card reader. If you're not sure if your camera can use this card, look up your camera model online and see if it's SDHC compatible before buying this.

I purchased this memory card for my girlfriend for Christmas, since the biggest memory card she had was 64 MB (I know, it's a damn shame...). We popped it into her Canon Powershot SD 750 and it worked flawlessly. Lots of room for high-res pictures, video, and anything else you want to put on it. I fully recommend this product to anyone who uses alot of space on their memory cards quickly: it will be well worth the money. Be forewarned, however: this memory card only works in HC-compatible devices, so older digital cameras may not pick it up. You might want to check with the company that developed your camera first to see if it will work.

The camera does a decent job. The PTZ is why to buy this camera. Its a fun little camera.
The included software is another reason. The AMCAM s/w sees all USB attached cameras. Great for setting up conference room cameras.

Picture quality would have dictated returning it, but the s/w made me keep it.

The Cobra PC1000 is quite a useful camera, but its non-standard drivers mean that you need to keep the original disks close to your computer. I have recently upgraded my computer and found out that I lost my original setup disk. Used to other companies' service I expected the Cobra website to hold the drivers for this camera, but they didn't.
I emailed the support at Cobra, but the replied said they cannot provide me with the drivers and if they are not on the website, they cannot help me.
Now I have a 60$ web camera, that I can't operate as it's supposed to work.

This is a cool webcam. I like that it can rotate (both horizontally and vertically) without you even having to touch it. What's truly awesome though is the tracking feature...the thing will literally track your face as you move it! I bought one as a gift for my nephew and he really likes it. Call me a satisfied customer. :-)

If you want them to last a long time just laminate them. You can get 8.5"x11" self laminating sheets at Walmart or Kmart they just barely fit but it works great

I needed this item to work quickly and efficiently - and it did! Good price, quick delivery, easy to use, and there is now a scum serving 10 years. :)
The unit came with a CDROM with all the support software and installer program. Setup was easy, I just clicked for all the default settings and I was up and running in five minutes.
